Clarke's the warm brown. Named for the quay where the godowns still line the river — built for cargo, not for looking good, and somehow good-looking anyway.

It's brick-in-the-evening brown, the colour of a wall that's held onto the day's heat past sundown. Warmer than Cecil, quieter than Beacon — it doesn't ask to be noticed, it just doesn't fade.

The adjustable handle loop does two things most leashes do not: it fits your hand correctly, and it converts into a tether. Wrap it around a railing, a post, a bike rack — clip it closed. Your dog stays. You get both hands back.
